As a young man, he started studying industrial engineering in Nafissi Higher Education Institution in 1979 and had passed his BA courses in foundry engineering in Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University between 1990-1995.

Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam believed that only weak individuals work as much as the resources allow them. He was described as the distinguished scientist and a modest virtuous man by the supreme commander and leader of Iran.

As a creative and intelligent individual, he could have registered several patents.

He was an obedient man to the orders of the supreme commander and had fulfilled all his promises. He was known as a virtuous, sincere, and hardworking commander who loved Imam Hossein and followed his school of thought. The great thinker and theologian of the Islamic world, informed Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam of his martyrdom, a wonderful news that filled his heart with joy.

Relying on the God, he displayed perseverance to remove the constraints and conquer the devil. He was famous for his strategic views and innovative ideas. He had been consistently attempting to develop brilliant plans to defeat the sworn enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the large arsenal explosion of the Amir Al-Momenin Garrison, on November 12, 2011, several members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, were killed.

Tehrani Moghaddam had important roles as follows:

• Head of the mortar command center of the IRGC in 1981
• Establishment of the first artillery corps in IRGC in 1982
• Establishment of the missile command center in IRGC in 1983
• Missile Commander of the IRGC Air Force in 1985
• Independece in Missile Industry in 1986
• Setting up the Lebanese Hezbollah missile unit in 1986-1987
• Designing the Naze’at missile, the first Iranian missile, in 1987
• Commanding IRGC in Operation Mersad in August 1988]
• Designing Shahb 3 Missile in 1998
• Vice commander of the IRGC Air Force in 2005
• Head of the Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization in December 2006
