The Guidelines for Submitting Works for the First International Congress on the Outstanding Scientist Martyr Hasan Tehrani Moghadam Posted on:2023-09-14 The First International Congress on the Outstanding Scientist Martyr Hasan Tehrani Moghadam will be held on November 13, 2023. The sections are as follows: Scientific, written works: Books, Articles, MA theses and PhD dissertations, Strategic notes and reports Artistic works: Infographic designs, Motion graphics, Music videos and clips, Photos Literary works: Personal notes, Short stories, Poems, Anthems Special section: Architectural design competition of Martyr Tehrani Moghadam memorial and scientific-technological- cultural complex General conditions: Filling out the form and submitting works means accepting all the conditions and regulations set by the congress. The participants are expected to avoid submitting works that have been awarded in previous events. The number of the submitted works is not limited. The participants can submit works for more than one section. It is free for all to participate in the congress with no geographical and age-related limitations. The works must be submitted via the website; the participants are required to register and submit their works. The corresponding participant is considered as the owner of the work, who is responsible for all legal consequences. The corresponding participant grants the right to use the work to the congress committee by submitting the work(s). Making decisions about the unexpected incidents is upon the scientific chairman of the congress. Specific conditions: Books The work must be within the scope of the congress. The books must have been published by a formal press, having SHABAK and FIPA. The file must be sent in pdf format with the size of at most 10 Mb. Avoid submitting the word file. If required, the authors must submit the printed version to the congress committee. The works will be returned to the authors after the congress. The possible damages by the post office or by any possible causes are upon the author(s)’ shoulders. Articles The work must be within the scope of the congress. The files must be submitted in word format (Doc. or Docx.). Avoid submitting pdf files. The article must have between 5000 to 8000 words. The author(s)’ detailed information must be included in the main file. The template for writing the article is available on the website. MA Theses and PhD Dissertations The work must be within the scope of the congress. The defended MA theses and PhD dissertations must be submitted. The files must be submitted in word format (Doc. or Docx.). Avoid submitting pdf files. The extracted works from the theses and dissertations must be appended to the main file. Strategic Notes and Reports The work must be within the scope of the congress. Strategic reports (policy papers) include the prescriptions proposed by the experts and specialists in areas of inquiry in research and study centers focused on presenting strategies to the decision makers and administrators. These reports play a key role in creating a legal and institutionalized framework for leading the society towards development. The file must have between 1000 to 5000 words. Specific conditions for submitting artistic works Infographic Designs Infographic is a visual presentation of the information and data by mixing texts, pictures, icons, diagrams, charts, etc., aiming to present a simple and comprehensible representation of the complicated issues. Each artist is allowed to submit at most 3 works in line with the scope of the congress. The participants can take part in all sections. The works must be in A3 and at most 100*70 cm (horizontal or vertical) with RGB color mode. The file must be sent in one of the following formats: TIF/pdf/ jpeg/ jpg with 300 dpi resolution. The size must be between 5 to 10 Mb. If requested by the referees, the participants are required to present the PSD file for recognizing the work identity and originality. Submitting a work to the congress means its intellectual ownership. If the ownership is not confirmed, the legal consequences are upon the participants. The congress committee is permitted to use the works in several events such as Fairs, Advertisement, Publication, keeping the designer(s)’ name(s). Motion Graphic Designs Motion graphic is a visual movement of the information, data, visual and written elements for transferring a message via taking advantage of the visual potentials, videos, and graphics. Due to having sound and movement, it is more attractive. Each artist is allowed to submit at most 3 works in line with the scope of the congress. The participants can take part in all sections. The works must be in MP4 format and KODAK 264 (H.264) with the size of at least 1024 pixels and at most 1280 pixels. The duration must be at least 30 seconds and at most 2 minutes. The size must not exceed 50 Mb. The works must have a beginning and an ending credit with one or more than one frames. Submitting a work to the congress means its intellectual ownership. If the ownership is not confirmed, the legal consequences are upon the participants. Music Videos and Clips Each artist is allowed to submit at most 3 works in line with the scope of the congress. The participants can take part in all sections. The works must be in HD or Full HD with MP4 (H.264) or HEVC (H.265) formats. The duration must be at least one minute and at most 5 minutes. The size must be between 50 Mb and 120 Mb. The works must have a beginning and an ending credit with one or more than one frames. Submitting a work to the congress means its intellectual ownership. If the ownership is not confirmed, the legal consequences are upon the participants. Photos Each artist is allowed to submit at most 7 photos (seven separate photos or a collection of photos) in line with the scope of the congress. The participants can take part in all sections. The large side must be at least 1920 pixels and the size must be between 3-6 Mb. Photos can be black and white or single-colored or colored with RGB color mode. Photos taken by cell phones must be of the required quality. Otherwise, they will be withdrawn. The photos in photo collection must be numbered in order. The photos must not include the photographer’s signature, marginal notes, dates, watermarks, logos, or any visual signs. Manipulating the photos by any techniques, deletion or addition that endangers the originality of the works are not allowed. Editing photos is limited to changing the light, color, or cropping them and they will be otherwise withdrawn. After reviewing process, the raw or original file (RAW/JPG) must be presented for the fair or publication in the book. Submitting a work to the congress means its intellectual ownership. Special conditions for literary works Personal notes The works must be in line with the scope of the congress. It has no particular framework, but must be an intimate note including emotional stances. The title must be included. The personal notes must include between 50-1000 words. Each participant can submit 3 personal notes. The criteria for reviewing personal notes include: linguistic accuracy, emotional power, relevance to the topic. The files must be submitted in word format (Doc. or Docx.). Avoid submitting pdf files. Short Stories The works must be in line with the scope of the congress. Short story is a well-known fictional genre. All regulations of story writing must be considered. The title must be included. The personal notes must include between 800-6000 words. Each participant can submit only one short story. The criteria for reviewing short stories include: linguistic accuracy, elements of fiction, relevance to the topic. The files must be submitted in word format (Doc. or Docx.). Avoid submitting pdf files. Poems The works must be in line with the scope of the congress. Traditional and free forms of poems are accepted. The title must be included. Each participant can submit 3 poems. The criteria for reviewing poems include: linguistic accuracy, poetry rules and regulations, rhetoric, relevance to the topic. The files must be submitted in word format (Doc. or Docx.).
